Shower Gel Got the Scent off Dog

Last night I came home from grocery shopping and the kids told me that the dog had gotten into something and he smelled like a dead animal. I was tired and it was hot outside, so this was the last thing that I wanted to hear. I knew if that was the case then I’d definitely need to bathe him, so I walked outside and when he greeted me, the smell almost knocked me down. I asked them to put away the groceries and I grabbed my shower gel and headed out to the back yard. Normally, I wouldn’t use my favorite shower gel to bathe the dog, but I had used the last of the dog shampoo several weeks before and had forgotten to order some new. When my girlfriend landed a client representative gig at major concert venue for the summer, I could not have been more happier for her. She is ecstatic about this job because not only will she get to see all the shows that come through but there is a pretty good chance she will meet thee musicians while bringing VIPs back and forth from their seats to backstage. It also doubles as a warm-up area when there is a big show, with multiple musicians inside.

Needless to say, she was beat after moving chairs all day. When I got home from shopping yesterday and headed towards the bathroom to take a bath, I noticed that there was a huge glob of my favorite shower gel in the bottom of the tub. I could also see that my bottle of shower gel had either fallen into the tub somehow and the reason there was some in the bottom of the tub was because it was leaking out all over the place. I was fairly certain that I hadn’t left the lid off when I left for shopping that morning, but I knew that anything was possible. After all, I’d been in a hurry and rushed around like a chicken with my head cut off in order to try to get to the mall on time to meet my best friend. It was my last bottle, so after I replaced the lid on the shower gel, I cleaned it off and took it to the kitchen where I could order a new supply. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it was last night when I finally got to take a shower with my new shower gel. I was out of town on business about two weeks ago when I finished my supply of shower gel. I didn’t think much about it at the time, since I was headed back home in a couple of days and knew I could live without it. This morning after breakfast my husband informed me that he’d used some of my favorite shower gel as bubble bath and that he was filling the tub at that moment.
