Last night I came home from work to find that my son, daughter and husband had my favorite shower gel in the back yard using it to wash the cat. Now we all know that cats are not fans of the water, so it was literally taking all three of them to bathe the cat, and I figured upon approaching them that they probably would walk away from this adventure with a few scratches. The first thing I noticed is that the brand new shower gel that I’d just ordered online was now half full as opposed to being the full bottle that it was when I left for work.
Before I could say a word, they told me that they were sorry they had to use my shower gel; but that the cat had gotten into something really stinky and the shower gel was the only thing they could find to get the smell off her. Surprisingly the cat didn’t seem to mind the bath as much as I expected he would, and he did smell better. I made a mental note to order new gel and also to find something for them to bathe the animals in case this sort of thing happened again.
