Two days ago I stumbled into the bathroom half asleep when I stepped into something cold and sticky. I don't know about you, but there's nothing like encountering something that you aren't anticipating when you are half asleep to jolt you out of a slumber. I flipped on the light, and lying on the floor was a puddle of my favorite shower gel and an almost empty bottle.
 
Immediately I picked up the bottle of shower gel in hopes of saving what little bit was left in the bottle from oozing out onto the bathroom floor. I knew that since I hadn't ordered any shower gel lately there was also no chance of me having any extra bottles in the closet. Since my floor was clean with the exception of the gel, I decided to grab a damp wash cloth and scoop up some of the excess that had spilled on the floor; at least that way I'd have enough shower gel for my morning bath.

I figured rather than taking the time to clean the shower gel off my foot and then get breakfast, I'd get in the bath and then have breakfast afterwards. Once I was finished, I made a b-line for the coffee machine, set a pot to brew and headed to my laptop so I could order myself a few new bottles of shower gel while I was thinking about it. I knew that if I may be changed my routine and started doing this daily that I could save time, so I'm going to try it. And to think this all started because of a little gel on the floor.
