shower gelLast night I came home from grocery shopping and the kids told me that the dog had gotten into something and he smelled like a dead animal.   I was tired and it was hot outside, so this was the last thing that I wanted to hear.    I knew if that was the case then I’d definitely need to bathe him, so I walked outside and when he greeted me, the smell almost knocked me down.    I asked them to put away the groceries and I grabbed my shower gel and headed out to the back yard.   Normally, I wouldn’t use my favorite shower gel to bathe the dog, but I had used the last of the dog shampoo several weeks before and had forgotten to order some new.    I also knew that if I bathed the dog with my shower gel she would at least smell great when I finished with her and hopefully the other smell would be gone.    It ended up taking me two washes and close to a half bottle of shower gel, but Gypsy now smells great.  Now let’s hope that she stays away from whatever it was that she got into yesterday.
