My mom always told me that I should never try and save money way when it comes to soaps. She told me that a good quality body soap will make a big overall difference in the way that my skin feels, the way that it cleans, and the way that it relaxes me. When I first moved out of the house, this is one of the things that I always tried to adhere to. Today, though I do not use soap as much. Actually I don't use it at all. I have moved on to shower gel. But, not just any type of shower gel. The same advice that my mom gave me about soap, I am now passing on to my own daughter about shower gel. A good shower gel makes all the difference.

I remember the first time I used a shower gel. It was actually a gift from a friend. I had never used gel before because I had a mind set about the soap that I always used. But, one day when I was out of my normal soap I decided to try the shower gel. I grabbed the bottle that has been sitting there for the last six months and tried it out. The shower gel was absolutely exhilarating! I couldn't believe that something that comes in a bottle could make you feel so alive! Ever since that day I have loved shower gel.

I am determined to do the same thing with my shower gel as I had always done with my soap. Always find the best quality and stick with it. Using subpar shower gel just doesn't work for me. I still feel oily and dirty. My daughter is about ready to head for college and I am going to be telling her the same thing my mom did. However, I am also going to go one step further. I am going to tell her where to get the shower gel.
