This morning I have invited a group of friends over to come for lunch. I was up early so that I could get a bath, get the soup cooking and also to make the muffins that I want to serve with the coffee after lunch. A little while ago I tied up the little goodie bags for the girls and have them waiting on the table. They should arrive in less than an hour and other than taking the dog out and warming the soup, I am ready for them. I am still debating whether I'll wear makeup or not, but I guess that depends on how much time I have left between now and the time they actually arrive. I'm excited about having them here. It's the first lunch I've given all year, but it definitely won't be the last.
