Shower Gel and Oil Goodie Bags for the Girls |

This morning I have invited a group of friends over to come for lunch. I was up early so that I could get a bath, get the soup cooking and also to make the muffins that I want to serve with the coffee after lunch. It is a group of new friends, all with the exception of one, who happens to be one of my best friends. I'm excited about having them visit and have even created little bags with shower gel and essential oil for them as a little 'happy' to take home with them.
Those who know me know how much I love great smelling shower gel and essential oil. I use at least one of them each day, and sometimes I use both. This morning, I used my favorite shower gel, and then once I dried off, I spritzed a little of the perfume of the same scent so that I'd have the great scent most of the day. One thing I never do when buying shower gel, essential oil and perfume is pay retail prices. I always order online and can find great deals at Shearer Delights whose online store can be found by visiting http://sheardesires.ispeedway.com.
In fact, the shower gel and oil that I have for the girls came from Shear Delights and I generally order any fragrance gifts that I give from there as well. Sometimes when I want to take a bubble bath and relax after a really long day, I squirt a little of the shower gel into the tub and run some hot water. My husband tells me that it isn't bubble bath but shower gel, but since I do leave the tub with the faint scent of the gel, and I do get the desired effect of bubbles, I tell him not to knock it until he tries it.
A little while ago I tied up the little goodie bags for the girls and have them waiting on the table. They should arrive in less than an hour and other than taking the dog out and warming the soup, I am ready for them. I am still debating whether I'll wear makeup or not, but I guess that depends on how much time I have left between now and the time they actually arrive. I'm excited about having them here. It's the first lunch I've given all year, but it definitely won't be the last. |
