It took me about five minutes this morning when I woke up to realize that it was definitely Monday and was going to be one of those days. First, I walked into the kitchen to find that my brand new bottle of essential oil was not only open, but turned over on the counter and was running everywhere. Apparently the lid hadn't been put back on tightly enough, and the cat probably knocked it over, causing it to leak and run all over the floor. Needless to say that was not how I wanted to start my day today.

From there, I went to the bathroom and hopped into the shower. A few minutes later, I grabbed my shower gel, only to find that the bottle was empty. I knew that would mean that I'd have to get out of the shower, go into the hall and grab the extra bottle of shower gel and then get back into the shower before I could continue. Did I mention it was freezing cold in the house? Rather than complain, I groaned a little, jumped quickly out of the shower, grabbed the shower gel and got back into the shower in record time.

When I grabbed the bottle of shower gel, I noticed it was the last one, so I needed to make sure that I ordered shower gel and a new bottle of essential oil this morning. I did call my husband at work and ask him if he'd used the last of the shower gel and he immediately began apologizing. He knows that it's one of my pet peeves for someone to run out of something and just leave the container sitting there as though it's full. I told him a little more about my morning, and he apologized again for the shower gel incident, and I told him I'd let it slide, just this time if he'd take me out for dinner tonight. He said I had a deal, so it looks like I won't be cooking. That's definitely an improvement to my day.
