Fighting Flu With Essential Oil |

For the past few days I've been sick with the flu. My husband was the first one to have it, and in spite of my many efforts not to get sick, I ended up catching it anyway. I haven't got out of the house much at all, but the one thing I have done that seems to make me feel a little better is take essential oil bubble baths. It is no secret to those who know me that I love to spend time soaking in a bubble bath, but what I wasn't expecting is that some of the essential oil that I received for Christmas as a gift from one of my colleagues would help me so much while feeling bad. I've added some of the essential oil into the bath, and even though it isn't exactly just a bubble bath, it has been wonderful in the sense that the essential oil have helped open up my sinus cavities and allowed me to actually breathe.
The funny thing is that it has felt so good when I take a bubble bath that since I've been sick; I've taken sometimes three baths in a day. My husband jokes and laughs with me about it, asking if I'm a mermaid in disguise, but the truth is, it makes my head feel so much better that I just can't help but want to spend my time in the bath. Yesterday afternoon, I decided to order myself some more of the essential oil from Shearer Delights whose online store can be found by visiting www.sheardesires.ispeedway.com. I can't really get out of the house right now, and I was able to find the exact essential oil that my colleague gave me for a great price. I figure even if I'm feeling better when it arrives, which I hope I am, I can still use it later, on the occasions when I find myself over worked and over stressed. In fact, I may find that I want to always mix the oil with my regular bubble bath, just to see what kind of combination it creates. Who knows, maybe I'll find that I can sleep better and relax even more if I mix the two.
One thing is for sure, I never thought that an essential oil bubble bath would become part of my healing process for when I have the flu, but it has been wonderful, not to mention extremely relaxing.
