It is hard for me to really wake up to the full extent without hopping in the shower, scrubbing on shower gel and just letting the water bead off my face. I’ve been trying to become more of a morning person. Problem is I love sleeping. When it comes to getting out of bed, taking a shower works wonders at getting me to the point where I can stay awake. The shower gel I bought online has a great fresh smell that has been engrained in my mind as an alert to wake up. Since starting to wake up at the crack of dawn, I’ve used this shower gel. Over time, my body has associated its smell with getting a start on the day.
At least I always feel more awake after scrubbing it on. That may be the effect of moving my limbs around and the water but by the time I’m brushing my teeth sleeping is the last thing on my mind.
