No Girly Smelling Shower Gel |

Last night after his bath, my son came into the kitchen where I was finishing up the dishes and asked if I would do him a favor. I have learned the hard way never to say yes before I know what the favor is, so I told him that it would really depend on what the favor was as to whether I could help him out or not. He said that he wanted to use some of the shower gel that was lying on the side of the tub but that he noticed it smelled like my perfume. I continued to listen and he asked if it would be possible that I get some shower gel that didn't smell like girls, but that smelled more like something that men could use. I tried not to laugh, especially since my son is only 12, but I admit that I found it adorable that he was thinking about things such as shower gel at his age. I didn't ask many questions because I didn't want to embarrass him, but I did ask if he had any particular scent of shower gel that he'd like to have.
I explained that I was just thinking about replenishing the supply of shower gel and that way I could order some for him while I was placing the order. He was quick to let me know that it didn't really matter what kind of shower gel that it was, as long as it didn't smell like flowers or girls. That part did make me laugh and I promised him that he had nothing to worry about, that no son of mine was going to get any shower gel that smelled like girls or flowers. He seemed happy with this response, kissed me on the cheek and off he went.
I told my husband the conversation about the shower gel a little later in the evening and he commented that it was obvious our baby was growing up. That wasn't something I really wanted to think about, so I went online in search for some shower gel to replenish my supply and also for something for our son. I found some great deals at Shearer Delights whose online store can be found by visiting http://sheardesires.ispeedway.com and place my order. This morning over breakfast my son seemed happy when I told him that I'd found some gel for him and that it wouldn't smell anything like flowers, fruit or women. |
