My friend Lisa is always complaining about the type of shower gel that she uses. She has sensitive skin, but loves to use shower gel that has a fruity scent. After her showers, she feels like she is going to scratch her skin completely off. Lisa makes me laugh though; she won’t try a different shower gel because she is not sure of how her skin will react. I have heard this same story from her for a couple of months now, so I bought her some different shower gel. It was still the same fruity scent that she loves, but it was just another brand.
Lisa is so amazed, after only a couple of uses of the new shower gel, she has decided to widen her horizons. I am always going to tease her about how simple it really is to spend a few dollars on something new or suffer with the results of a shower gel that you are not happy with. I think it is great how I can say the same thing each time we have the same conversation, but Lisa never takes my advice until I force it on her. I guess that is how our friendship works!
